School

The one thing I would change at my school is the uniform policies. First of all we have to wear mash or see threw book sacks which I don't mind wearing but does kind of of bags tear easy and when it rains your papers get wet, and in New Orleans you will find rain. Then our uniform is also a problem. The girls have to wear skirts except the seniors. So while its cold outside or in school our legs will be cold and wet while the seniors and the boys will have pants. I can work around the all black shoes. The other thing is jackets. Why do we have to have all black or school jackets? That's just more money to be wasting instead of just wearing the jackets in your closet from the year before that you want ever wear again. I understand people go over board with there clothes but that's them. Let them get in trouble. The good don't always have to suffer for the bad. How bout the bad suffer for the bad and the good awards the good. This is the only thing I will change about my school.

A memorable holiday.

My most memorable holidays is June 2. It's not really a holiday national but it's a holiday in my heart. I love that day so much because that's the day god chose me to be born and become a member of this world. My birthdays before Hurricane Katrina was awesome. Every Saturday or Sunday we went to Wave land,which was out of the city. I was to young to remember where it was at. Wave land was kinda like blue bayou but different in a kinda way. They had a huge wave pool, with the small, medium, and deep sections. Every 5 minutes a bell will ring and the waves will start coming. Depending on your location in the pool, the waves are different sizes. They start of hard but then it'll get softer and softer until its stops for another 5 minutes. They will also have huge tube ring things that you can sit on when your in the water. One thing I forget to mechon at the beginning is that my birthday is on the same day as the family picnic or reunion( which ever one you prefer). Everyone would be there which means more money. Yea meeeeee!!! All my brothers and sisters will be there. So will be my cousins, uncles, aunties, maw-maws, paw-paws, and family friends. That's the present I could ever have is being with my family and getting money. The most memorable moment is when I'm getting my money though. Hehehehehehehhehehhehehehhehehe.

SKOOL/C.T.

My life is sometimes exciting and sometimes its not. It depends on how I make it. Like in school for an example. If you just sit in class and do your work it's boring. But if you do your work and clown around its fun. Class will pass by in a jiffy. Plus you will be having fun while earning your class grade for the day.Unless you get put out and thats not really a punishment. When I get home from school on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays's I have to go to College Track. College Track is just another version of school so I do the same thing I do in school. This one time I was in my english class and this girl was about to sit down and she was looking so I pulled her chair from underneath her and she fell on the floor. HHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHSAHHAHA

What City

In this city some one is dying everyday. Most of the children go to schools that have 35 and EC HS in it's name. As a traditional school every Monday they have the same thing, which some would agree with me that needs to change. This city is in a bowl. Because of this when we have a hurricane the outcome would be devastating. During carnival time people go to different parades like the Endymion and the truck parades. After these parades people would go home with beads, coco nuts, and stuffed bears. To save for next year or throw away.

Other activities we have is streets. When people is bored they call up there friends and go out on this street. On this street there are a bunch of stores, restaurants, and bars. When you step into this city you will see graffiti in almost every place you go. Even at school. Every Sunday people get together and listen to music and 2nd line to it. The state that we live in may

have got MC Cains vote but most of the people in this city are democratic and is down for Obama. What city do you think this is?

Jorney to Sucess!!!!!!!!!

One of my goals is to graduate high school and go to college on a full college trip. I am a freshman(9th grade) in high school. I go to Thurgood Marshall Early College high school. The reason I picked this high school to go to is because it is a early college high school which means I have a chance to get college credits while I'm in high school. Isn't that cool or what? This Wednesday coming up I take the plan test. This test determines if I get to take does credits or not. I have to score a 18 or higher in order to do so. This is the only time you get to take this test. No retakes, makeups, or wavers. If I don't get a 18 it wouldn't even make sense for me to go that school. The college classes we will be able to take will be for Delgado Community College. I also do this extra curriculum program that's after school called College Track. College Track is a program that works with students after school and gives them money for college. With college track you will have a lot of opportunities to be success full in life. They will have people come and talk to you about there career and talk to you about how rough they had it growing up. but they had to believe and work really hard to become what they became. I will also join the yearbook community because the more activities you join the better chance the college your applying for will pick you. The journey has just began.
